Dr. Lynn W. Phillips
A former award-winning teacher, scholar, and faculty member of the Stanford Business School for 12 years (as well as a faculty member at Harvard, Northwestern, Rice, and UC Berkeley), Dr. Lynn W. Phillips now devotes his full time to executive education and implementation guidance as the founder and principal of his firm, Reinventures. Dr. Phillips is widely recognized as the co-creator and developer of many of the essential customer-centric and value-delivery frameworks, concepts, tools, and disciplines that are employed by leading companies worldwide to hone their competitive edge, reinvent their businesses, and drive sustained growth. For over 30 years, he has been sought by businesses across the globe looking to employ his firm's breakthrough day-in-the-life-of-the-customer protocols and methodologies in order to help them win large commercial and government contracts; catalyze game-changing innovation; expand globally; discover new uncontested market spaces and segments; align channel partner teams; leverage worldwide mega-trends; make the transition to Enterprise 2.0 technologies; and more.

Dr. Phillips' Ph.D. is from Northwestern University.

Gary A. Lillian
A former senior executive in consumer-facing businesses, Mr. Lillian is now an educator, researcher and consultant in best-practice approaches in customer value delivery, customer-experience engineering, and cross-functional collaboration. As a Client Partner at Reinventures, Mr. Lillian works intimately with clients competing in extraordinarily complex customer communities and rapidly-evolving "new-game" competitive landscapes. Through his executive-level engagements, Mr. Lillian has helped business teams in consumer products, food service, retail, e-commerce, cybersecurity and defense, media, insurance, pharmaceuticals, commercial real estate, and automotive services to reap the lasting economic rewards of unflinching customer focus in their businesses.

Mr. Lillian has 30+ years industry experience as a senior executive with Ford Motor Company, Pennzoil, Pizza Hut, Frito-Lay, and The Clorox Company. He is also an accomplished entrepreneur, most recently as a founder and executive team leader at Javo Beverage Company. There, he successfully raised start-up capital, moved the company through its early development stages, secured institutional investment—ultimately vaulting the company to a leadership position in the foodservice coffee industry and a public company market value in excess of $100 million. He is also a frequent lecturer at UC San Diego's Rady School of Management; his M.B.A. is from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.

This was after his five-and-a-half-year tenure as Creative Director of Topline Advertising, a New York-metro-based agency with gross annual billings of $10.5 million. There, his C.D. duties included conceptualization, production, and direction of print, copy, broadcast, and outdoor advertising; and management of the creative staff of art directors, artists, and copywriters.
